Top Multiplayer Free Card Games on Mobile

This list includes mobile applications that let players play games using their smartphones without carrying a physical deck.

What do you need to do, you ask? For the most part, in-game cards, you'll have cards that you only see (in your hands) and a shared area where cards are placed and moved around so that everyone can see.

If an app supports this, it will be able to play all the card games there.

Top Multiplayer Free Card Games on Mobile

Deck of Cards (iOS and Android)

It is first on my list for several reasons. One reason is that it's the only one that is compatible with both iOS and Android.

Another reason is that it's so easy and easy to use. There was no need for instructions, and I was able to launch the app and get it all figured out in a flash.

With the added benefit of points, poker chips and move history, it's a clear win in my eyes.

Team Playing Cards (Android)

It is among the top apps available. It's professional, neat appearance and is loaded with features. The graphics have an uncluttered, cartoonish style, making everything look easy (and this is).

It is, however, necessary to upgrade to host games. Other than that, it's a great application. It's a close second and could likely be the best If it were free and compatible with iOS.

The Card Table (iOS)

I love the style of this piece. It is very minimalistic in design, and it plays extremely well. One of the biggest issues I have with this application is that you need an iPad.

While it has the advantage of having plenty of space to play common cards, it can restrict you from playing cards in the wild when out with your pals.

A majority of people do not carry the iPhone with them. They're at home and likely already have some cards all over if they do.

Trappola (iOS)

It took some time to master the concept, but it's quite fascinating once you have its knack. You'll have a few cards on your phone which appear and disappear when you tilt your phone upwards and downwards.

Although this gives more screen space for you to view every card in the shared area, I found it somewhat sluggish at times to cover the cards. This could allow shady users to look at your card. They have a lovely worn appearance, and the app runs well.

Overall, it's a good app but needs user interface and design improvements. The game feels unnatural and boring compared to some other games available.

52 cards (iOS)

Which is the best way to play with other players? The answer is, with one device, players alternate looking at their decks and performing actions they want to perform.

I'm not a player of having to take turns on the same device, but this does look enjoyable. It's not for serious players, but as you can cheat, it's an easy and neat game that is fun to play.

MiniCards -- Card games (Android)

A game collection for card players comprises Hearts, Canasta, Spades, Snap and Cribbage. This app offers a good user interface as well as usability.

It also allows some customization and utilizes Bluetooth. It's among the best apps available, particularly if you're going with the internet and wireless internet.

Group Card Games (Android)

Another set of card games within one application is stunning in its graphics. Much effort has been made to create a visually stunning experience.

If you like playing Hearts President, Hearts, Kemps, Sueca or I Doubt it, and this game is worth giving it a go. You can play with your computer or locally with your buddies.

Card Deck Games (Android)

It also includes different card games. The advantage of having specific games for cards within the app is that it is limited to specific actions, which allows for more fluid gameplay.

The only drawback is that only five games are available (Hearts Thirty-One Shithead Oh Hell, Chicago), and the app is limited to Bluetooth.

However, it is a great application if you are a fan of these games.

iPlayingCards (iOS)

I don't think I would recommend the app to a great extent. The graphics are old-fashioned, the app is unresponsive, and it isn't easy to use by using the pop-up menu. But, in my opinion, it requires some work before it's usable.

Deck Share 500 (iOS)

Deck share lets you play a variety of games with other players. However, it requires at the very least one person to purchase the game. I admit that I'm not fond of the cartoon-like graphics or general gameplay.

This concludes my list.
